What I need to survive is not Gale’s fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that. So after, when he whispers, “You love me. Real or not real?” I tell him, “Real.”

The past few days weren’t that great for me as I was for the most part out of office and just stayed at home isolating as I was very sick with COVID-19. In order to keep myself busy while trying to recover (I am okay now, as I typed this), I binged-watch NBC’s The Good Place, and I must say BEST. SHOW. EVER. I know I’m kinda late with this show, but I guess this is what happens when your busy life suddenly stopped  out of nowhere and you got nothing left to do but succumb to heavy Netflix-ing to distract yourself from the hell and the anxiety that’s lurking around you. Going back to the show, I love how they gave me this feeling that I was part of it and I love how they fused the themes of morality, ethics, death and some sociological imagination on this comedy show. Not going to talk much about the plot of the series itself because I want you to check it yourself.

To everyone who watched it already, how did you process the ending? Comment down below because I really wanted to know your thoughts. To me, it was such an emotional roller coaster ride. FOR. REAL. I feel like I am part of the Soul Squad! Although the ending was satisfying and optimistic, I’m still a bit sad about it and with that being said I don’t think I can rewatch the Season Finale right away because I’m still processing it.

How about you? Let me know your thoughts! :)
